"THE MACRA TERROR"
The Doctor arrives at a coastal resort where the happiness of its occupants is paramount, but something dank and evil lurks at the heart of the resort. Unseen by most of the population miners toil in the coastal mines, extracting a precious gas.
The population are being controlled and brain washed by the monstrous crab-like Macra. The Macra need the humans to extract the gas for the Macra who rely on the gas to live. The Doctor must fight the Macra and stop his companions from joining the other brainwashed humans controlled by the Macra.
THE CYBERMEN
A reoccurring foe for the second Doctor are the deadly silver Cybermen. The Cybermen are a constantly evolving threat, changing and augmenting their bodies with new technology as they move further away from their human origins. From the surface of the moon, to their tombs on Telos and finally to present day Earth the Doctor with the help of his friends must stop the Cybermen from ever gaining a foothold in the Universe and to prevent them from changing others to be like them – unemotional silver monsters without individuality or emotions!
“TOMB OF THE CYBERMEN”
On the planet Telos the Doctor accompanies a party of archaeologists that have discovered the lost tomb of the now legendary Cybermen. Deep under the surface of Telos the Doctor and the archaeologists have to overcome many traps and logic tests before they can gain access to the lower levels where the Cybermen sleep. An entire army of silver giants sleep, frozen, inside a huge hive like complex.
A number of the archaeologists have an ulterior motive to the rest of their party and seek to communicate with the Cybermen in the hope of forming an aliance. The traitors find a way to heat up the tombs and slowly but surely the Cyber army awakens.
The party are quickly overwhelmed by the newly emerged Cybermen and are taken as prisoners. The Doctor can only stand and watch as the Cybermen re-awaken their Cyber-Leader.
The large brained Cyber-Leader promises the Doctor and the all of the other humans that they will become like them – to be converted into Cybermen!
Realising their dreadful mistake the humans try to escape the Cybermen and with the Doctor’s help they manage to trap the Cyber-army underground and freeze the Cybermen inside their tombs.
The Cyber-Leader escapes the downfall of his army and depite being weakened attempts to destroy the fleeing archaeologists. Only the sacrifice of one of the party prevents the Cyber-Leader from leaving his tomb for good.
